What this Policy covers
This website, www.paxiasolutions.com (“Site”), is owned and operated by Paxia, Inc. (“Paxia,” “we” or “us”). Because your privacy is important to us, we have adopted the following policy regarding the use of your personal information that we receive from you through this Site. If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, the practices of this Site, or your dealings with this Site, you can contact Paxia by visiting the Contact area of our site or emailing info@paxiasolutions.com. This policy covers this website. Your organization’s use of the Paxia Cloud application is governed by its agreement with Paxia.
What is “Personal Information”?
This Privacy Policy addresses our use of your “Personal Information” that we receive from you when you use our Site. For purposes of this policy, Personal Information means any information that identifies you, or can be used to identify, contact or locate you. Personal Information also includes information that, by itself does not identify you, but when combined with other information we have, can be used to personally identify, contact or locate you, for example, your name, address, phone number, fax number, email address, financial profiles, social security number and credit card information. (Paxia does not currently request social security number, credit card or financial information on its website.)
Personal Information also includes information we receive from you regarding another person that identifies that person, or can be used to identify, contact or locate that person, including by combining that information with other information we already have.
We obtain some Personal Information directly from you and other Personal Information may be collected automatically from you during your use of our Site. We also may already have information about you from various sources such as from your previous visits to our Site or from other third parties. Our use of this information is discussed below.
How do we collect and use your personal information?
Some pages on our Site contain forms — for example, to request a demo, contact us, register for a webinar, or book a meeting. These ask for business contact information, such as your name, work email, company, and job title, plus anything you choose to tell us in a message. We use this information to respond to your request and to send you the information you asked for. These forms and the information they request may change from time to time.
Like most websites, our Site automatically records basic technical information about each visit, including your IP address (see Glossary below). We use it to keep the Site secure, diagnose problems, and administer the Site.
With your consent, we use analytics tools that set cookies to show us, in aggregate, how visitors use the Site, so we can improve it. Embedded content, such as videos, may also set cookies. Only strictly necessary cookies run until you make a choice in our cookie banner, and you can change that choice at any time. Our Cookies Policy explains the categories we use and how to control them.
We may use your Personal Information to provide you with information about Paxia’s products, services, and events, and to evaluate your use of our Site so that we can improve its design and content. We use service providers to run our Site, forms, and email, and they process Personal Information on our behalf.
Our Site may link to other websites. If you follow one of those links, that website’s own privacy policy, not this Privacy Policy, governs how it handles your information.
Personal Information you give us about other persons (such as information about someone you would like us to send marketing materials to) will be used only for the purpose for which you disclosed that information to us. Personal Information you provide us about third parties is not shared with any other person or company, except as set forth below.
We also may make extraordinary disclosures of your Personal Information. These extraordinary disclosures include, without limitation, (1) disclosures required by law, court order or other compulsory process, (2) disclosures made in voluntary cooperation with law enforcement agencies, (3) disclosures to government regulators, (4) disclosures made in an effort to prevent or halt illegal activities on, or the illegal use of, our Site, and (5) disclosures that we reasonably believe are necessary to defend against or prevent us from incurring liability to third parties.
We will not disclose your Personal Information to any third party in a manner that identifies you personally other than as described in this Privacy Policy or with your prior permission. You may “opt out” of certain uses of your Personal Information by following the procedures described below.
Security
We use standard security measures to protect the information you submit through our Site, and the Site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, so please don’t send us sensitive information — such as financial or government ID details — through our forms.
How can you opt out of marketing emails from us?
Our marketing emails include an unsubscribe link. You can also opt out of email and other direct marketing from us at any time by emailing info@paxiasolutions.com with “remove” in the subject line. Opting out doesn’t stop messages about something you asked us for, such as a demo you requested.
How can I correct or delete any personal information you may have about me?
If you would like to correct or delete any Personal Information we may have about you send us an email with your request to info@paxiasolutions.com or a letter to us at Paxia, Inc., c/o Website Marketing, 13221 Woodland Park Road, Suite 330, Herndon, VA 20171, USA, and we will give you an opportunity to correct, update or delete your information.
Miscellaneous
Paxia may modify this policy from time to time. If at any time you believe Paxia has not adhered to this policy, please notify us and we will use commercially reasonable efforts to promptly identify, diagnose and correct the problem. This is Paxia’s sole obligation and your sole remedy for Paxia’s breach of this Privacy Policy. You may reach us by mail at Paxia, Inc., 13221 Woodland Park Road, Suite 330, Herndon, VA 20171, USA.
